First of all, I
want to apologize to all our friends, patrons, et al, for
calling this a dispersal sale. It should have been, as most
such sales are termed "Herd Reduction Sale". From the
beginning my wife and I intended to keep a dozen or so of
the old does, most of who were bottle babies, and some who
are six or seven years old. Plus, we have three guard
dogs that still need work, as they never retire like humans
do. We downsized to within fifteen animals of our
goal, which means we still have about thirty does and about
twenty keeper kids. This is about twice the number we
intended to keep, but hopefully attrition will take most of
them in the next few months. If folks want to give
sale barn prices, they can pick them up at the sale barn,
without papers. We still have several very nice four to
seven month old doelings for sale, and will have wethers in
the future.
Thanks to all those
who have purchased animals from us in the past, especially
those who have showed and called us with their wins.
We are proud for you.
Take care, and God bless,.
Don Johnson
